The KaleidoscoPig Farm” is a documentary series about a pig farm. The documentary is a record of how, in 2008, in the aftermath of the economic crisis, Chang-jung Wu’s family turned to raising pigs to solve their financial difficulties. In this documentary series, the filmmaker uses the contemporary format of the video diary, taking the process of raising pigs as its subject. The film uses kaleidoscopic scenes that resemble a contemporary music video, resulting in a different kind of “documentary” that presents the various experimental results of individual emotional experiences.
